Toronto is arranging charter buses to Nationals. It is a long journey to Detroit, but with professional drivers taking us on well-furnished coach buses, it is safe and affordable at $90/seat roundtrip.

As this is an international trip, please remember that you must have a valid passport to make this trip. We will be sending additional documents to everyone who registers in order to facilitate a quick and easy crossing at the border.

Hotel accommodation costs $40/person for the full weekend, with six people sharing one room for two nights (we will have 2 people using sleeping bags in each room to cut down your costs).

We will be staying at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Downtown Detroit – Fort Shelby.  All room reservations must be completed by May 31st.  MIST Toronto will be booking rooms in bulk for our team. Please confirm your need for accommodation asap by emailing info@misttoronto.ca.  Families may also book rooms in the same hotel using the link below.

Hotel amenities include free wireless internet, continental breakfast, and $15 overnight parking.

Cost of Nationals
Registration: $60
Transportation: $80
Lodging: $40
Regional Shirt: Bring any red/white shirt that says Canada!
Total: $180 for early registration (June 1st) or $185 for late registration (June 5th)

If you need financial support, please fill out a scholarship application.

Meals while in Detroit will be covered by registration. However, everyone is advised to bring pocket money for meals/snacks along the way. We suggest around $40-50 of cash should be sufficient.
