MIST Toronto currently features over 35 different competitions, divided into six (6) categories. All competition events, rules and procedures can be found in the Official Competition Rulebook and the 2013 MIST Toronto Rulebook Addendum.

General Competitions Guidelines
All work MUST be original and created by the competitor(s) him/herself for all competitions. Previously created projects or submissions for previous MIST competitions or any other competition/event will be immediately disqualified. Also, by submitting your work you are agreeing that MIST has the right to return or keep all work/submissions/entries.
Each student has the option to register for more than one category.
Example: Joe Smith registered for 2DArt, Community Service, and Knowledge Test.
A student CANNOT register for more than one competition PER category.
Example: Joe Smith CANNOT register for 2D Art AND 3D Art.
Only 2 students from each school can sign up for the same competition.
Example: Only Joe Smith and Jane Doe from ABC High School can register for 2D Art.
A third person from ABC High School will not be able to register for 2D Art.
Knowledge & Quran

This category allows students to enhance their creative skills in a variety of mediums by applying them to this year’s theme. Each student can register for only Read More…

Brackets
This category consists of all competitions that are organized in brackets. Judging will take place at the completion of each round and judges decide if you make Read More…
Group Projects

This category consists of all athletic competitions, namely basketball and soccer. All competitors must compete in at least one other competition category in order to qualify for Read More…
